Here is how this works in practice. We crew underwater camera operation with dive-certified operators who shoot to a DP's brief, not just record. From our Belgrade base we plan the sequence around the water. The visibility and the dive profile, then choose between open-water work in Serbia's rivers and lakes and controlled tank or pool sets where lighting and scene matching can be locked. Our operators run cinema bodies in pressure-rated housings with the buoyancy, ports and filtration each environment needs, and they work with a safety diver and supervisor on every dive.

Here is the short of it. We rehearse cast water work with the stunt and safety team so performers stay confident. We set up the underwater unit with topside camera so the sequence intercuts cleanly. Housings, lighting and dive support come through our Belgrade base with expert gear supplemented from the wider region for demanding shoots. Footage is delivered with dive logs and notes so edit and the grade have full scene matching.

Here is the breakdown. Serbia offers genuine underwater locations within reach of the capital. The Danube and the Sava meet at Belgrade. The Danube continues to the dramatic Djerdap gorge, the Iron Gates, where the river cuts through Djerdap National Park. Lakes around the mountains of Tara and Zlatibor add clearer, calmer water for controlled sequences. The temperate inland climate means water temperatures swing with four distinct seasons, so we plan dives, exposure protection and crew rotation around the schedule, with the warmer months best for extended open-water work.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Djerdap National Park applies conservation rules. We secure the necessary permissions and brief crew on them before any river dive. ATA carnets cover temporary import of housings and dive cameras. English is widely spoken across the local crew base.
