Here is how this works in practice. We give car filming as a set up pro operation, crewed from our Belgrade base with the camera-car, rigging and precision-driving experience that automotive sequences demand. Our team runs tracking cars and camera cars, rigs picture cars with hard mounts, suction rigs and process trailers, and supplies precision and stunt drivers for sequences that need controlled action. We plan each shoot with the DP, the stunt coordinator and local authorities, securing road permits and police escort for street work in Belgrade and on the open road.

Here is the short of it. For controlled work we use the back-lot space and stages at PFI Studios near Simanovci, where process plates and rig shots can be captured cleanly. For travelling sequences we plan routes, traffic running and recovery in advance. We set up the car-filming unit with aerial, gimbal and cable-cam teams so a chase or hero-car sequence cuts together seamlessly. Camera cars, mounts and rigs come through our Belgrade base, with pro tracking cars supplemented from the wider region for major shoots.

Here is the breakdown. Serbia gives automotive shoots a wide spread of driving environments within reach of the capital. Belgrade gives dense city streets, the bridges over the Sava and Danube and the broad boulevards of New Belgrade, and the city doubles convincingly for other European capitals when a sequence calls for an unspecified urban backdrop. Beyond it, the highways of Vojvodina, the winding mountain roads of Tara. Zlatibor and Kopaonik, and quiet rural routes give range for hero driving, chases and scenic travel.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. The temperate inland climate brings four distinct seasons, so a sequence can be planned for dry summer roads or winter snow. Driving is on the right.
