Here is how this works in practice. We supply and operate wireless audio systems as part of a recordist-led sound department crewed from our Belgrade base. Frequency planning is central to trusted wireless, so our recordists scan the range at each location, plan a clean channel plot, and manage intermodulation across the cast and crew radios in use.

Here is the short of it. For studio work at PFI Studios near Simanovci we set up with the in-house environment. On location we plan for the RF challenges of dense urban Belgrade and reflective period interiors. We rig discreet body packs that stay hidden under costume, monitor each channel during the take, and carry spare frequencies and backup units so a scene is never lost to a dropout. Systems come through our Belgrade base, with extra channel capacity supplemented from the wider region for large multi-cast shoots.

Here is the breakdown. Serbia's RF environment is covered by RATEL, the national communications authority, and our recordists operate each wireless system within the permitted range, setting up frequencies to avoid trouble and clearing needs where a production brings its own kit. Belgrade is a busy urban RF environment, with broadcast and mobile traffic that makes careful scanning key, while the period buildings of the old town and the Kalemegdan fortress add reflective conditions that affect range.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Outside the capital, the mountains of Tara and Zlatibor and the plains of Vojvodina present cleaner range but greater distances. This our channel planning accounts for. The temperate inland climate brings four distinct seasons. Our crew protects transmitters and receivers against summer heat, winter cold and damp.
